NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!

You may become a member of the St. Philip's even if you were not baptized in an Episcopal Church. If you are not baptized, simply contact The Rev. Gloria Payne-Carter at 716.833.0442, and she will connect you to the next Confirmation Class leading to baptism. The Confirmation Class is a good way to learn more about the church even if you do not want to be confirmed in the Episcopal church at this time. All are welcome to attend!

Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

Unless the LORD guards the city,

the guard keeps watch in vain (Psalm 127:1 NRSV).......

WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU

Find your niche among the many exciting and rewarding ministries, small groups and programs of St. Philip's.

Today, a variety of beautiful and committed groups and programs exist at St. Philip's. Much of the real ministry of our church exists in small clusters of commitment and prayer. We are guilds, study groups, mission councils, demographic groups, prayer groups, committees, and classes. Each of these groups has a different function; but, together, we comprise the living body of St. Philip's Episcopal Church.

St. Philip's encourages all members to be a part of a group, whether by volunteering for outreach projects, or attending a class. It is through fellowship that we develop relationships, and through those human relationships we grow closer to God. Our myriad programs and fellowship groups provide wonderful opportunities for being in a relationship. Fellowship can be strictly social, as is the case with some groups, but it can also be a combination of social, service and study components. St. Philip's invites you to explore the options and know God through community.
